The Sunday service is based on weekly Bible Lessons from the Christian Science Quarterly. These include readings from The Bible (King James Version) and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures which were ordained by Mary Baker Eddy as pastor of the Church of Christ, Scientist. The Bible Lessons are studied throughout the week by Christian Scientists and seekers worldwide, and are read as the lesson sermon at Sunday services by two church members.

Each Sunday an Explanatory Note for Church Services, written by Mary Baker Eddy, is read in church services before beginning the Lesson-Sermon, and is as follows:

Friends:

"The Bible and the Christian Science textbook are our only preachers. We shall now read Scriptural texts, and their correlative passages from our denominational textbook; these comprise our sermon."

"The canonical writings, together with the word of our textbook, corroborating and explaining the Bible texts in their spiritual import and application to all ages, past, present, and future, constitute a sermon undivorced from truth, uncontaminated and unfettered by human hypotheses, and divinely authorized."

Wednesday Evening Testimony Meeting
7:30 P. M.

The Wednesday Evening Testimony Meeting begins with a hymn and readings from The Bible and Science and Health on an inspiring and often timely issue or need in the community or world. Following the readings, the congregation is invited to share experiences of spiritual healing or insight gained from prayer and the study of Christian Science.

Guided Tours
After each Sunday church service and Wednesday evening testimony meeting a guide is available to give a guided tour of our church. Special arrangements through our reading room can be made for a tour at other times.
